I been everywhere, man. Of travelling I've had my share, man

Sitting now on my couch in Amsterdam with only two days left until I step outside the plane to another city, Seoul. Last time I set my foot on the Asian continent was 3 years ago for complete other reasons.

Fresh out of high school at the tender age of 19 me and two friends went on one of those "find yourself" journeys. We covered Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore under almost 3 months. If we found ourselves? Well I at least packed my bags afterwards and went to Amsterdam, deciding that I needed to see more than Stockholm. But finding ourselves or not, it was a hell of a trip.

I did learn something though:
- It does not matter how pretty you think temples or waterfalls are. You will get sick of them
- Everyone in Cambodia is an undercover TukTuk driver
- Bargain until you feel uncomfortable, then bargain a bit more.
- Even if the local cuisine is the most delicious thing that you ever tasted as soon as you see your first McDonald's you get a special happy feeling.
- You will continuously meet the same people. Why? Your route is not nearly as original as you thought.
- Size 39 is considered man size in most Asian countries and never trust the quality of a flip flop.
